Extol's 'Solutions' group designs and manufactures custom assembly equipment and automated systems for a variety of industries. As one can imagine, our location in West Michigan positions us squarely in the automotive supplier region. As a result, we have naturally acquired in-depth capabilities pertaining to automotive type applications...especially 'interior trim', lighting, air-induction, and reservoir assemblies. West Michigan is also home to a prominent list of world-class office furniture makers. The related applications have challenged us over the years in a creative manner driving home our slogan of 'Solutions in Automation'. With projects as diverse as sheet metal notching and forming to automatic fabric 'edge-folding' and bonding, by necessity our abilities have become refined and well rounded.

This system punched (8) holes in a 1.2mm wall thickness, steel tube beam. We incorporated (2) 60-ton capacity presses per side. For reference, this system is approximately 20 feet long and 12 feet tall.
Hydraulic sheet metal notcher and edge former with 3-axis servo feed system. Processes multiple stock sizes up to 66 x 80" with no changeover required.
