Join our team as a Buyer and help shape the future of our supply chain! Extol, Inc. is looking for an organized, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial minded Buyer! This position is responsible for taking ownership of procuring for the standard product lines at Extol. This professional would not only build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers but build and foster strong internal cross-functional relationships with business units. As a buyer this individual needs to maintain detailed and organized documentation to support the purchasing workflow and ensure smooth supply chain operations. Strong candidates will demonstrate high attention to detail, consistency, and strong ability to communicate to align purchasing activities with organizational goals.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Time Management Expert: Demonstrates exceptional time management skills, effectively balancing personal daily tasks and broader organizational timeline goals.
  • Excellent Communicator: Excels in communicating with managers, external vendors, and internal business units to foster clear and productive conversations related to timelines.
  • Organized and Detail Oriented: Ensures proper workflow of purchasing processes by meticulously organizing and maintaining detailed records.
  • Ownership Mentality: Takes full ownership of the standard product buying process, proactively addressing issues, and driving continuous improvement with support and guidance from supply chain manager.
  • Team Player: Work seamlessly within a team environment, contributing to strategic planning and problem-solving initiatives within the supply chain team

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent job experience
  • 1-3 years of buyer and/or equivalent work experience
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data driven decisions
  • Proficiency in using ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Extol, Inc. is looking for an eager, detail-oriented Controls Engineer! The individual in this role will have the opportunity to develop and implement the electrical and controls portions of fully custom equipment in the plastic joining and handling world. Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to present technical information to internal and external customers from an industry leader’s perspective, follow structured workflows, and manage multiple projects.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Develops and implements controls design, electrical design, and project plans.
  • Programs and debugs PLCs.
  • Collaborates with mechanical design team, machine build team, and service team throughout project timeline.
  • Interfaces with customers at machine run off.

What You’ll Bring

  • Electrical engineering degree or related science (or equivalent experience)
  • PLC programming and debugging required – Allen Bradley and/or Siemens.
  • AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN experience preferred.
  • Confident, professional communication skills
  • Team-oriented – eager and willing to work in a cross-functional capacity.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Leads project team, establishing and tracking timelines and milestones for the project. 
  • Communicates with customers to ensure clarity in expectations and requirements. 
  • Manages financial performance of projects including budget, forecasting, and tracking. 
  • Manages documentation for projects including internal and external requirements. 
  • Provides hands on support to cross-departmental teams. 

What You’ll Bring  

  • Engineering degree preferred. 
  • Manufacturing or technical experience required. 
  • Confident, professional communication skills. 
  • Relationship-oriented and highly collaborative. 
  • Desire to learn.
