Summer Operations Intern

Extol is currently seeking a part-time Summer Operations Intern. If you are interested in learning about careers in manufacturing, enjoy hands-on work, and have mechanical interests, this could be a great fit for you! No previous experience necessary!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • General shop clean-up including sweeping and trash removal.
  • Organize stocked parts/hardware for easy use and access by production personnel.
  • May be assigned cleaning and updating projects including, but not limited to cleaning windows, reorganizing cabinets, and replacing floor zone markings.
  • Sort recyclable materials.
  • Restock hardware bins.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Mechanical interest.
  • Affinity for hands-on work.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 10-25 pounds periodically.

Standard work schedule: 8 AM start time. Flexible schedule per Equipment Build Manager’s approval.


General manufacturing environment, daily exposure to machinery and potential non-hazardous chemicals and lubricants.
