InfraStake Design Guidelines
Download these guidelines.
Tips For Optimizing Strength:
- The recommended clearance hole diameter is 1.1D (1.25D is the maximum diameter)
- The maximum recommended boss height above the mating surface is 1.5D
- Add radius and chamfer to prevent A-surface sink and improve stake strength
- These ratios apply to bosses up to 7.62 mm (0.30″) in diameter
Size Limitations:
These are the maximum sizes that can be staked by an InfraStake module. They are not recommended for optimum strength.
For dimensions outside of these maximum recommendations, please contact your sales representative or our Process Development Center for feasibility testing.
